Tudor writing

We had a try at writing with quills and ink. It was tricky not to make blotches on our work. Some of the quills were quite thick and some were blunt. We had to keep dipping them in the ink and soon realised that it would have taken a long time to write a document neatly with a quill - especially if you had to start again if you made a mistake or a blot!
I think we'll stick to pencils and biros!

Tudors and Stuarts

Research
We were set a challenge to research an aspect of Tudor life and create a display for the wall. We also needed to present our display to the rest of the class.
Presenting information about explorers. We made ours in the form of a book.

We even included a snap game with our display on Tudor costumes.

We found lots of information on the theatre and included quotes form Shakespeare in our display.

We included a 3D model in our Tudor house display.

There was a great variety of facts to discover about the lives of Tudor children.
